Cleaning nail polish stain on your chair with acetone
Cleaning the parts of the chair at Luxspa is quite simple. You only need a bit of cotton wool, and a bottle of acetone to clean up nail polish stains anywhere on the chair.
See the tutorial video HERE.
LUXSPA seat leather is 100% acetone resistant, however cleaning it with too much acetone can somehow cause damages in the long run, so don't overuse this solution when cleaning the chair! Only use acetone for cleaning the nail polish stain.

1. Lubricate the gears and shafts in the pedicure chair
The leather of all pedicure chairs from Luxspa can be easily removed so that you can examine its internals. And as soon as you lift the leather from the body of the pedicure chair, you will immediately see the massage rollers located inside the back.
See the tutorial video HERE.
Stock up on a few bottles of engine lubricant when you need it, because sometimes the gears and shafts in the massager, especially the rollers, will need a little lubrication.
You only need to periodically check and oil some of the joints, gears, and shafts inside this part to ensure that the massage system will always run smoothly.
2. Fasten the massage rollers with a screwdriver
This is one of the MUST-DOs to maintain a pedicure chair because you wouldn’t like it when the massage system just stops working for some reason in the middle of a session.
After a period of use, the screws inside the rollers of the massage system may become loose and that can lead to unwanted issues during your session. The solution is to give them regular checkups and use a screwdriver to tighten them if the aforementioned problem happens.
How to clean a clogged solenoid valve?
Sometimes you will encounter a situation where the water in the sprayer is weak for no apparent reason. So it's most likely because the seat's solenoid is dirty, preventing the water from flowing evenly. After a long time of use, dirt and residue from the water stream will be deposited on the inside of the valve wall, which is a very normal occurrence.
To handle this, simply open the water valve to check and rinse, and this can be done by anyone even those who are not very familiar with machines.
With Luxspa's ES450 and HB550 models, you can open the seat base to inspect the internals, making it easier to maintain the pedicure chair. To open the solenoid valve and clean it thoroughly, simply follow these steps:
- Open the base of the spa chair and you will immediately find the solenoid valve as shown in the picture.
- Be sure to turn off all electrical connections to the pedicure when starting to disassemble the solenoid valve.
- Use a pair of pliers to remove the wires if you don’t want to use your hands.
- After removing the solenoid valve from the pipeline, get a bucket or a strong hose to flush it and remove any residue inside the solenoid valve.
See the tutorial video HERE.
- Once it's clean, just attach and reconnect the wires as usual! In addition, the electrical wires also need to be attached randomly, not in order.
Once you've finished rinsing the solenoid valve, don't forget to test the sprayer again to make sure it's working as well as it should.
